A Child’s Development

An Organic World

The 3D Organic World of Farms and Infrastructure is developed in Minecraft by Children, empowering them to create, learn, and develop the Organic Communities of the Future.

Minecraft is a 3-D computer game where players can build anything. The game which has been described as like an ‘online Lego’ involves building blocks and creating structures across different Environments and Terrains.

A Child’s Development

Minecraft’s impact on the world is only beginning to unfold. With new technological advancements, Minecraft is being included in many. Players in the Minecraft community have made plenty of inspiring creations. These creations push the boundaries between our physical and our digital world.

Building Blocks of Impact

The results show that 53% of children aged 6 to 8, and 68% of children aged 9 to 12, are actively playing Minecraft. More than half of those play more than once per week. It is now clear that Minecraft is no passing fad, but rather a new addition to 21st-century play repertoires.

Through the Eyes of a Child

Children and young people will face the full, devastating consequences of climate change, yet they are the least responsible for its impacts. They have a right to have their voices heard. Governments must formally include young people in all national, regional and international climate negotiations and decisions.

Health & Climate Action

Climate change has both a direct and indirect effect on children. Children are more vulnerable to the effects of climate change on humans than adults. The World Health Organization estimated that 88% of the existing global burden of disease is linked to climate change affecting children under 5 years of age.
